Nathan Gray
Galeria Canizares, Brazil
While based at The Instituto Sacatar Nathan held an exhibition/installation at the Galeria Canizares, the gallery of the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Bahia in Salvador, Brazil. On Friday, September 5, Gray was offered the show, the only caveat: the exhibition would open five days later, on September 10. Nathan rose to the challenge and created a scribbling machine, fabricated out of fishing rods, nylon thread and marker pens, which, activated by a fan, generates delicate constellation drawings.
